Lawrence Parole and Probation
Most Illinois prison terms for offenses committed since 1978 use determinate sentencing. Many people leave an Illinois Department of Corrections prison on mandatory supervised release, often called MSR. IDOC Parole Division supervises that community period. Older indeterminate, or “C-number,” cases can involve a discretionary parole decision by the Illinois Prisoner Review Board. The board is separate from IDOC and sets conditions, hears specified violations, and performs other statutory review work.
| Record type | Who orders it | Where to verify |
|---|---|---|
| Parole or MSR | IDOC and PRB under state law | IDOC profile, Parole Division, PRB record |
| Probation | Lawrence County court | Case docket, Circuit Clerk, county probation office |
These labels should not be swapped. A person can leave prison and remain under MSR, while a person on probation may never have entered IDOC. A projected parole date is not proof of actual release. Read the status and date shown by the responsible agency.
Verify Lawrence Post-Release Supervision
Begin with the sentence source, not with a broad name search. The IDOC Individual in Custody Search can show a public profile while a person is incarcerated or on parole. It does not keep every fully discharged profile online. A missing result can reflect spelling, a county probation case, or the end of the IDOC sentence.
- Search the IDOC profile by the most exact name or IDOC number available.
- Read status, location, release, parole, and projected discharge fields literally.
- For county probation, open the Lawrence County case search and locate the sentencing or later modification order.
- Ask the Circuit Clerk whether the public docket shows probation imposed, modified, revoked, or terminated.
- Call the responsible office when the public fields remain unclear. Do not request confidential case-management notes.
The full Lawrence County release path and records-request method appear on the released inmate search and records page. That jail release record answers when county custody ended, while the supervision record answers what legal control continued afterward.
Lawrence Probation Office Records
The local route is the Lawrence County Probation Department. It serves court probation rather than state parole. The public page identified Jodi Wesley and Amber Coleman as probation officers and Linda Robbins as administrative assistant on the research date. Personnel can change, so use the office contact rather than relying on a name alone.

Ask a narrow public-record question: whether the docket records an order of probation, a modification, revocation, or termination. The office may protect supervision details that are not public. The Circuit Clerk at the same courthouse is the route for complete or certified court copies.
Lawrence Supervision Violations
Conditions are rules attached to release or probation. A claimed violation does not by itself show the final outcome. PRB revocation work can include a preliminary probable-cause hearing and a later final hearing. The board describes a preponderance standard and a three-member final-hearing structure. Outcomes may include no violation, return to release under an approved plan, added conditions, or revocation followed by an IDOC date recalculation. A calendar listing only shows that a proceeding was planned.
An absconder is a person alleged to have stopped reporting or maintaining required contact. The term does not prove a new offense. Verify the IDOC or court status and any warrant rather than drawing a conclusion from one list. Illinois VINE may report a custody change, but it is not a certified supervision record and can lag the source agency. Save the agency name, event wording, and date before asking the custodian for formal detail.
Traditional parole hearings, youthful parole review, and MSR violation hearings are different proceedings. Older indeterminate cases can return for review at intervals set by PRB. Youthful review depends on the operative statute, offense, sentence, and dates. Neither category should be reduced to a simple projected release date. A favorable hearing action also may precede the actual gate release, which must still be confirmed through IDOC.
Lawrence Supervision Discharge Records
Supervision ends through an agency or court action, not merely because a profile disappears. For state cases, an actual final discharge is different from release to MSR. IDOC’s release and community-placement records can include a release date, projected discharge date, community status, agent or parole office, committing county, and parent institution. Some private fields may be redacted.
For a former IDOC person whose profile no longer appears, use the IDOC Contact Us “Record Search” route or a focused IDOC FOIA request. Give the full name, birth date, IDOC number if known, reception year, facility, conviction county, and relevant dates. For probation, ask the Circuit Clerk for the public termination or discharge order. A certified court copy is stronger proof than a search-screen absence.
Lawrence Warrant Cross-Check
The Lawrence County Sheriff warrant page supplies a useful local check when a later warrant may follow release. Its fields include name, age, city, race and sex, case number, and charge. The page directs a listed person to the Circuit Clerk for amount and instructions. Link the case number back to the court docket and ask about the controlling order.
The official warrant screen illustrates the local channel and its limits.

A result on this page should be compared with IDOC status and the Lawrence County court case, not treated as a parole finding by itself.
This list has strict limits. It is not a statewide warrant clearance, an IDOC parole list, or proof that a person is now in custody. Presence does not establish parole status. Absence does not clear warrants in another county or state system. Keep each record tied to the agency that created it.
Lawrence Parole Office Route
No official Lawrence-specific parole reporting office was verified. State parole questions should therefore go through the assigned agent or the IDOC parole information line at 800-666-6744. County probation questions go to the Lawrence County department and court record. This split prevents a local probation office from being treated as an IDOC parole office.
The PRB hearing and docket hub is useful for specified hearings, but it is not a universal person-name release search. A calendar entry shows that a matter was scheduled, not that parole was granted or supervision revoked. Read the written minutes or decision where available, then confirm actual status with IDOC.
Lawrence Supervision Notifications
Illinois VINE and Prisoner Review Board notice serve different roles. VINE can send alerts about custody or case events supplied by county booking systems, IDOC, human-services systems, and circuit clerks. A registrant should match the agency and identifiers, save the confirmation, and read each event exactly. Transfer, release, hearing, and discharge are not interchangeable. Because VINE is an agency-fed alert service, the originating jail, IDOC record, or court order remains the stronger source for lasting proof.
The PRB has a separate victim and witness registration route for specified post-conviction events. Its material warns that registering with VINE or general Victim Services does not automatically register a person for notice of an indeterminate parole hearing. Those older C-number proceedings have board-specific notice instructions. A person who needs both custody-change alerts and hearing notice should complete the distinct routes that apply rather than assuming one registration covers all events.
Notification also does not reveal every supervision detail. Conditions, case-management notes, and protected contact information may remain confidential. Ask for the public status, order, or event needed to verify release and supervision, then keep private alert credentials secure.
Lawrence Parole Hearing Records
Illinois parole proceedings do not all answer the same question. Traditional parole mainly concerns older indeterminate C-number cases. Youthful parole review follows a separate statute for qualifying people who were under 21 at the offense, subject to its dates, sentence rules, and exclusions. Revocation hearings address alleged violations after release. None is a general calendar of when every IDOC person will leave prison.
PRB posts monthly calendar and institution docket material. Lawrence Correctional Center may appear as a facility row when a hearing is scheduled there. A blank row says nothing about one named person. A scheduled interview also does not prove a grant. Traditional-parole decisions can appear in en banc minutes with votes and reasons, while a revocation docket is mainly a schedule.
Read the proceeding type, written result, and date. A result may grant, deny, continue, defer, find no violation, return a person to release, add conditions, or revoke release for recalculation by IDOC. Even a favorable board decision is not the gate-release timestamp. Confirm actual status through IDOC and use the release record for the completed event.
Lawrence Supervision Record Search
Names can overlap, and status can change. Match identifiers, agency, case number, and dates before treating a result as the right person. For durable proof, request the underlying IDOC record or court order.
